Kari Voutilainen is a Finnish master watchmaker widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in modern independent horology. After graduating from the Finnish School of Watchmaking and furthering his studies at WOSTEP in Switzerland, he worked in restoration and the creation of complicated timepieces before establishing his own atelier in 2002. His dedication to traditional craftsmanship, innovation, and uncompromising quality quickly earned international recognition. Over the years, Voutilainen has developed several groundbreaking movements and has won multiple prestigious watchmaking awards. Current CEO – Angélique Singele
Angélique Singele currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Voutilainen workshop. A trained watchmaker and engineer in watch design, she joined the atelier and worked closely alongside Kari Voutilainen for several years before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2021 and subsequently CEO. Her combination of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership has strengthened the manufacture and positioned it for long-term independence and growth. Under her leadership, the atelier continues to uphold its reputation for exceptional craftsmanship while allowing Kari Voutilainen to focus on creation, unique pieces, quality control, and client relationships.
